3.1. Purchase Process:

5. Taxes, Duties, and Customs Clearance

5.1 Customers Outside the European Union (EU):

  • For orders shipped to countries outside the European Union (EU), customers are solely responsible for any and all import duties, taxes, customs fees, carrier-imposed administrative charges, or other applicable costs related to the customs clearance process in the destination country or region.
  • These charges are not included in the shipping cost or product price and must be paid directly to the carrier responsible for delivery, prior to the release of the shipment. It is the customer’s responsibility to verify and understand the import regulations and associated costs in their country before placing an order.
  • Failure to pay any required customs duties or administrative fees may result in the shipment being returned, delayed, or destroyed by the destination country’s customs authorities. In such cases, we cannot be held liable for any resulting loss, cost, or delivery failure.

5.2 Customers Within the European Union (EU):

  • For orders shipped within the European Union (EU) to countries or territories with free circulation of goods, products will be delivered with VAT (Value Added Tax) included in the final price. No additional import duties or taxes will apply upon delivery in these cases.
  • For certain EU territories with special fiscal regimes, such as the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Åland Islands and others that do not benefit from the free circulation of goods, shipments may be subject to customs clearance procedures and additional charges, including customs duties, taxes, and administrative fees imposed by the carrier, which must be paid directly to the carrier prior to delivery. In such cases, the customer is solely responsible for covering these costs. It is also the customer’s responsibility to verify and understand the import regulations and associated costs in their territory before placing an order. Failure to pay any required customs duties or administrative fees may result in the shipment being returned, delayed, or destroyed by local customs authorities. In such cases, we cannot be held liable for any resulting loss, cost, or delivery failure.

6. Return Policy

6.1. Customers Outside the European Union:

  • Due to the complexity of international regulations, returns are not accepted.
  • Vassori guarantees assistance for products found to be defective or substantially damaged. To initiate a claim, please contact us within 7 days of receipt.

6.2. Customers within the European Union:

In compliance with Directive 2011/83/EU:

  • You have the right to return products within 14 days of receipt without needing to provide a reason.
  • To initiate the process, email us at info@vassori.com with your order number.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging and unused.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, except for defective products or errors in the order.

7. Warranties

  • All products sold by Vassori are original and include a warranty against manufacturing defects.
  • To claim a warranty, contact us via the provided email, attaching photos of the defect and the purchase invoice.

8. Rights and Responsibilities

  • Pay any applicable customs or import fees at the destination.

8.2. Vassori’s Limited Liability:

  • Vassori is not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as strikes, extreme weather events, or customs procedures.

9. Personal Shopper Service

  • If a customer wants a product that is not available on our website, they may use our Personal Shopper service, through which we source the item from third-party sellers within the European Union. Once located, the product is delivered to Vassori for quality inspection and then shipped to the customer. A service fee of 15% applies, calculated on the product's value (minimum fee: €30), in addition to a 5% card processing fee applied to the total cost (product + service fee + shipping + insurance, if requested by the client). Shipping fees vary based on the delivery location and are included in the final quote.
  • For shipments outside the European Union area with free circulation of goods, customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, customs fees, or other charges. These costs are not included in the product price or shipping fees and must be paid directly to the carrier before delivery. Please refer to the relevant section of these Terms and Conditions for detailed information on customs and import regulations.
  • To request this service, clients must submit a form with product details. Within 48 hours, we provide a complete quote. Upon approval, a secure payment link is sent. Once payment is received, we handle the purchase and delivery.
  • Due to the personalized nature of this service, returns and refunds are not accepted. Since the product is purchased from a third-party store approved by the customer, Vassori assumes no responsibility regarding the quality, warranties, or other product details. Vassori also reserves the right to refuse the Personal Shopper service for certain products or destinations.
